Windows 95, 98, Me 버전의 파일 및 프린터 공유 서비스에서 비밀번호 검증이 제대로 이루어지지 않는 취약점입니다. 공격자가 실제 비밀번호의 첫 글자와 일치하는 1바이트 비밀번호를 전송함으로써 공유 폴더의 접근 제어를 우회할 수 있습니다.
💡 쉬운 설명
공유 폴더에 접속할 때 비밀번호를 아주 짧게(한 글자만) 입력해도 문이 열려버리는 보안 결함입니다. 해커가 첫 글자만 맞추면 폴더 내부의 파일을 마음대로 볼 수 있습니다.

File and Print Sharing service in Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows Me does not properly check the password for a file share, which allows remote attackers to bypass share access controls by sending a 1-byte password that matches the first character of the real password, aka the "Share Level Password" vulnerability.
