Node.js의 tough-cookie 모듈 2.3.3 이전 버전에서 정규표현식 거부 서비스(ReDoS) 취약점이 발견되었습니다. 공격자가 특수하게 제작된 쿠키를 포함한 HTTP 요청을 전송하면 애플리케이션이 과도한 CPU 리소스를 소비하게 됩니다.

웹 쿠키 처리 부분에 결함이 있어, 악의적으로 만든 쿠키를 보내면 서버의 CPU가 과다 사용되어 다른 사용자들이 서비스를 이용할 수 없게 됩니다. 정상적인 작동을 방해하는 공격입니다.

A ReDoS (regular expression denial of service) flaw was found in the tough-cookie module before 2.3.3 for Node.js. An attacker that is able to make an HTTP request using a specially crafted cookie may cause the application to consume an excessive amount of CPU.
