Python 이미지 라이브러리인 Pillow의 12.3.0 미만 버전에서 발생하는 취약점입니다. Image.paste(), Image.crop() 또는 Image.alpha_composite() 함수에 32비트 정수 제한에 근접한 좌표를 입력할 경우 네이티브 힙 영역에서 경계 외 쓰기(out-of-bounds write)가 발생할 수 있습니다.

이미지 처리 프로그램에서 좌표 값을 비정상적으로 크게 설정하면 메모리의 잘못된 위치에 데이터를 쓰는 오류가 발생합니다. 이로 인해 프로그램이 강제로 종료되거나 해커가 시스템을 제어할 위험이 있습니다.

Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 12.3.0, Pillow public image coordinate APIs can trigger a native heap out-of-bounds write when given coordinates near the signed 32-bit integer limits in Image.paste(), Image.crop(), or Image.alpha_composite(). This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0.
